The Wawa Foundation Virginia Hero Awards

Celebrating 20 years in Virginia

What does it mean to be a hero to our communities? The Wawa Foundation Virginia Hero Awards will honor those non-profit organizations that are committed to serving the state of Virginia by assisting others and building stronger communities through preserving our independence, protecting our safety, and mentoring and inspiring our youth.

The Wawa Foundation will soon announce the grand-prize winner of a $20,000 grant, as well as the three runners-up, live at an event at a local Wawa store location in each of the three regions.

Voting has ended, but you can still be inspired by the stories from this year’s regional finalists below!
